Katie McClellan - Founder and Director of Studio 55 Dance, Katie McClellan, has been involved in the dance world for over 30 years. She began dancing at the age of five where she was trained in ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, pointe, contemporary and hip hop. As a dancer, she has won many awards both individually and as part of small and large group companies.
Katie began her career as an assistant teacher during her middle and high school years. After graduating high school she became a principal instructor and choreographer teaching all levels and styles of dance. Over the past 20+ years, Katie and her teams have won numerous top overall awards, choreography awards, entertainment awards, and judges choice awards at both the regional and national levels. She continues her training each year by attending various classes, workshops, and certifications courses such as, Acrobatic Arts, Alixa Flexibility, and Progressing Ballet Technique. Katie also belongs to the National Dance Education Organization and is a Chapter Sponsor for the National Honor Society for Dance Arts.

Lilly Christiansen is is another fabulous alumna of Studio 55 Dance. She began her dance career at the age of 4 and hasn't stopped since. Her training in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, acro, and musical theatre has been essential to her growth as an instructor. Lilly is an instructor and choreographer for both our Recreational and Competitive classes and the love she has for her dancers truly shines through each and every one of them. Her joy of learning continues beyond the studio as she continues her education at Normandale Community College to become a registered nurse. Additionally, she furthers her dance training by taking various workshops, courses, and continuing education classes.

Brittany Decker began her dance training at the young age of 4 years old and hasn't looked back since. She was trained in many styles including ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, and pointe where she performed both as a soloist and as a team member earning her high honors at many regional and national events. Upon graduation, Brittany's journey led her to teaching and choreographing at several studios within the Twin Cities area. She has since taken a permanent Instructor/Choreographer position with Studio 55 Dance and has spent the last 9 years with us. Her training has led her dancers to top overall awards, title winners, and choreography awards. Brittany continues her training through various courses and continuing education classes.
Paige Kraus is an alumna of Studio 55 Dance. She grew up in the competitive dance world learning and performing in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, and acro. Paige is currently an instructor and choreographer for our Recreational and Competitive classes. Her training has led her dancers to many top achievements, such as, top overall awards, entertainment awards, and judges choice awards. Paige loves working with children and creates a wonderful atmosphere within our studio walls. She continues her training through various courses and continuing education classes.
